Patti is married with 5 children ages 24-11. She started scrapbooking when her first son was born in 1991. As with most long time scrapbookers she started with Creative Memories whose main idea was to get your photos in acid free books, with “journaling of course”, to pass on for generations to come. This struck a cord with Patti because being the youngest of 8 children, unfortunately the first photograph of Patti is when she was 5 years old. She has no baby pictures to compare her children to and she vowed she would have the same amount of photos for her youngest child as she does for her oldest.
Patti loves being the family historian and creating books that her family will cherish long after she is gone. Scrapbooking is definitely a labor of love. Patti loves seeing the expressions on the faces of her family members when they look at the albums and reminisce.
Patti’s goal in doing the retreats is to create a fun, stress-free environment, where women can come together and create. It’s difficult for busy moms to take time for themselves. With the scrapbook retreat weekends they are getting away and enjoying time with friends, but they are also coming home with priceless keepsakes for their own families to enjoy. The friendships developed and ideas shared during these fun weekends are truly amazing. Patti loves what she does and we know you will too!
